October was another great month for real estate. We did see a small pause in the market for the two weeks following the mortgage rule changes that came into effect October but otherwise it was still fairly strong.
The average home price was down slightly, however looking a bit close we see that both the detached houses and townhouses were both up since September and it was semi-detached that were down, indicating there was an increased supply that would both bring down the average of that segment as well as average down the gains in the other two segments.
Our clients continued to out perform the market selling for thousands above comparable homes listed and selling days quicker.
Our buyer clients we ecstatic with the purchase of their new home in the extremely desirable and sought after Old Milton. They beat out 4 other offers (one of which was much higher in price) and landed their dream home backing onto Milton Fairgrounds.
